To create a patio door from an existing window in a bedroom- the same width as the window, so taking the wall out below the window, fitting a patio door and making good the outside and inside areas of the wall.
It is a Leasehold property- the leasehold is owned by Bristol City Council. I have already applied for and received permission to create a patio door with the stipulation that approved drawings and calculations will have to be submitted to Building Regulations Section for their approval. Also the outside of my flat is cloaked and insulated on the exterior so the reveal of the door will have to match with the upper part of the existing window.
